A Banner Year for Legacy Property Fund

2007 marked the best year yet for KCT's Legacy Property Fund. Over $1 million in charitable gifts was donated that year to more than three dozen charitable organizations. Charities of all stripes reaped the rewards, ranging from educational institutions to social services charities to environmental organizations. The fourth quarter also saw the first contributions to KCT's regional conservation fund which directs private contributions to high priority land conservation and stewardship projects in our region. Conservation groups benefiting from these donations included Audubon Pennsylvania, Montgomery County Lands Trust, Natural Lands Trust and the Pennsylvania Environmental Council.
